Mission is an integral part of NBMC congregational life. Through ministry we share the love of Christ with our local, national and international communities.
There are a number of ways our church takes part in the work of God:
We run the Reservoir Hill House of Peace, a community house and home to asylum seekers
We run a ministry called the Asylum Seekers Housing Network, which provides assistance and programs for asylum seekers in coordination with other local and national organizations.
We also advocate for and involve our congregation in the work of these following mission priorities:
Environmental Work
Immigration
Peace
Queer Life
Racial Justice
In addition to our own work, we actively partner with the following people, ministries, and organizations:
Anabaptist Disabilities Network
Asylum Seekers Housing Network
Baltimoreans United in Leadership Development
Baltimore Community Mediation Center
Baltimore Racial Justice Action
Donald & Karen Vundhla - Brethren in Christ World Mission, Southern Africa
Faith Communities of Baltimore With Pride
Interfaith partners for the Chesapeake
