Community Events

Spending time together is an important aspect of life at NBMC. We come together as a church family for service, fun, and fellowship. Events include church work days at the NBMC building and Reservoir Hill House of Peace, hikes, picnics, special celebrations, youth-hosted fundraisers, and more.

Church Retreat

Every September, our church community gathers at Camp Hebron in Halifax, PA for a weekend of fellowship and spiritual nourishment. Each retreat includes a guest speaker, activities for children and youth, and childcare. Our 2022 retreat will be September 23-25.

Women’s Retreat

All women are welcome for this weekend of fellowship, worship, and much needed relaxation at Charter Hall, MD. This retreat is normally scheduled in April of each year.

Easter Breakfast

Every Easter Sunday, our church community meets together and celebrates Jesus’ resurrection with a breakfast meal, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for the children and our Worship Service at 10:30am. In 2022, Easter Sunday is April 17.

NBMC Christmas Celebration

Each year in early December, the children put on a Christmas program.

Christmas Eve

Every year on Christmas Eve, at 7:00 p.m. NBMC has a Service of Lessons and Carols in which we celebrate Jesus’ birth. For a recording of our 2021 service, click here.
